Each cake of Bergamot Handmade Soap contains vegetable glycerin for its moisturising attributes, a substance largely removed from commercial soaps as it has more value for the big commercial manufacturers as an additive in other products they make.
Bergamot Handmade Soap is an ultra rich, SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate) and Parabens free, relaxing, luxuriant and skin friendly glycerin soap with Bergamot Essential Oil (Citrus bergamia) adding its intense traditional spicy orange, subtle floral and clean, crispy tones.

Inspiration behind Bergamot Handmade Soap:-
Bergamot, a perennial favourite; the flavour of, and synonymous with, Earl Grey Tea. The spicy orange from the Citrus bergamia. Its a staple amongst fragrances, used in conjunction with other oils in many perfumes but loved by so many and quite justifiably so, just for itself.
The citrus fruit resembles a cross between an orange and a grapefruit but in a pear-shape. The fruit ripens from green to yellow.
The name Bergamot is derived from the city Bergamo in Lombardy where the oil was first sold. This tree is native to South East Asia but was introduced to Europe, and particularly Italy, but is also found in the Ivory Coast, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria.
