CAUTIONS: Absolutes should be avoided during pregnancy and never ingested (taken internally) and should be kept away from children and pets. No medicinal claims are made for this product and the notes above are provided for guidance purposes only. Absolute Oils are powerful plant extracts and should be used with extreme caution. You should seek the advice of a qualified practitioner should you be in any doubt.

It is important to note that all absolutes are extremely concentrated by nature. They should not be evaluated in this state unless you are accustomed to the undiluted fragrance. For those trying Absolutes for the first time, we strongly recommend they be evaluated in dilution. Otherwise, the complexity of the fragrance – particularly the rare and exotic notes – become lost.

At first thought for the novice, Beeswax Absolute Oil as a perfume ingredient might seem an odd choice. However, made from the honeycomb wax, it adds a rich silky tone to any perfume with a honeyed base note that makes it a good fixative. It is not for the inexperienced though, given its price and availability.

The fragrance of Beeswax Absolute Oil will vary dependent upon where the Bees that made it are located, the climate and, of course, the source of the flowers that they feed upon. In France it is known as Absolue Cire d’Abeille

Traditional Uses for Beeswax Absolute Oil:-

Beeswax absolute is almost exclusively used in the perfumery industry, though some have found success in adding it as a rich and exotic fragrance in skin and haircare products.

Beeswax Absolute OIl Blends Well With:-

Beeswax Absolute is blended by perfumers almost exclusively. While all evidence indicates it blends easily, the price often inhibits experimentation. We find the following are very easily and favourably blended with it:-

Cassie Flower, Clary Sage, Clove, Fir Balsam, Galbanum, Immortelle, Jasmine. Citrus fruits especially, Orris, Orange Blossom and Neroli, Rose, Tobacco , Vetiver, Tonquin, Vanilla ( a bit overpowering but with moderation can be very successful) Champaka,

History:-

Beeswax absolutes’ exposure has been limited to the perfume industry and pioneers in the manufacturing industry. It is an extremely rare oil.
