CAUTIONS: Absolutes should be avoided during pregnancy and never ingested (taken internally) and should be kept away from children and pets. No medicinal claims are made for this product and the notes above are provided for guidance purposes only. Absolute Oils are powerful plant extracts and should be used with extreme caution. You should seek the advice of a qualified practitioner should you be in any doubt.

It is important to note that all absolutes are extremely concentrated by nature. They should not be evaluated in this state unless you are accustomed to the undiluted fragrance. For those trying Absolutes for the first time, we strongly recommend they be evaluated in dilution. Otherwise, the complexity of the fragrance – particularly the rare and exotic notes – become lost.

Boronia is a bushy evergreen shrub, up to 6 ft. in height (approximately 2 metres), that has an abundance of beautifully fragrant flowers. The colouring is unique in that the petals are brown on the outside, and yellow on the inside. It is a wild plant used for this aboslute oil and it frequently fails to flower. Hybrids which are grown all over Australia, do not provide the oil. Boronia Absolute is possibly the world’s rarest oil.

USES:

Boronia Absolute is used almost exclusively in the perfume industry and for it’s aromatic signature. Amongst absolutes used in perfumery, Boronia is considered one, if not the most, exotic.

BLENDS WELL WITH:

Boronia Blends well with Sandalwood, Clary Sage, Blackcurrent, Bergamot, Violet, Helichrysum, Costus, and any oil from the floral family.

HISTORY:

Boronia has a long history of being used by perfumers seeking only the most exotic blending aromatic. Many regard it as the closest thing to heaven in the perfumery field.
