Gaia also known as Wild Mountain or Gia is native to Africa, with green leaves along the stem leading to a vibrant purple flowering head.

Gaia is very versatile and tends to blend well with all other oils. However, it works particularly well with earthy oils.


This oil was steam distilled from wild collected indigenous plants growing in the mountainous region of the eastern escarpment, in the Limpopo province situated in the Northern regions of the Republic of South Africa.


The essential oil is phototoxic and therefore to be avoided in sunlight.
